Vision for the Role: The Videographer plays a vital role in capturing powerful ministry moments, preserving the stories of what God does in the lives of students while attending camp. The work the Videographer does allows campers and their families to relive meaningful experiences long after they leave. It also gives the Hume community inspiring glimpses of the ways that the Lord is using their ministry and hard work.

The Role:
  • Duties include shooting and editing videos of all summer camp programs and producing programmatic and promotional videos.
  • Follow all safety procedures and directions provided by supervisors.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, contributing to a Christ-centered team environment.
  • Represent Hume Christian Camps' values and mission through conduct, attitude, and service.

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Must be able to work with or learn how to use Adobe Creative Suite and shoot on Panasonic cameras.
  • Must be able to present examples of past projects.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of employment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Willingness to perform physical tasks and work outdoors or indoors as needed.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
  • Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps' Statement of Faith.
  • Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, run, frequently lift up to 50 pounds, bend, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the functions of the job.
  • Live and work in extreme weather conditions, at high altitude, and in small living quarters.
