Camp Lincoln for Boys is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while being part of a meaningful, youth-focused environment. The Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for campers and staff, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to food safety standards.

  • Follow established recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
  • Ensure meals are prepared efficiently to meet scheduled service times
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
  • Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring an “inspection-ready” kitchen at all times
  • Assist with product storage, inventory organization, and kitchen operations
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen (camp, resort, school, or restaurant experience preferred)
  • Experience with batch cooking and/or feeding large groups is a plus

  • Valid driver’s license may be required for certain duties
