Position Description: Make this summer count! We are looking for Summer Camp Cooks to keep campers and staff fueled with safe, nutritious meals and help power the fun, energy, and care that make Camp Marydale special.
This seasonal role is ideal for someone who enjoys food service, takes pride in a clean and organized kitchen, and wants to be part of a fun, mission-driven camp team.
2026 Camp Work Schedules:May 15 through May 29: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM each day.June 5 through July 12, weekends only: Saturdays 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.What Youll DoPrepare and serve meals and snacks according to camp menus and schedules
Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food storage area
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures at all times
Store, label, and rotate food and supplies appropriately
Support dietary restrictions, allergies, and special food needs with care and attention to detail
Assist with receiving deliveries, inventory, and kitchen supply management
Help prepare food for special camp activities such as cookouts or unit meals
What Were Looking For
High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of food service experience required
Knowledge of kitchen safety, sanitation, food storage, and large-group meal preparation
Ability to maintain accurate kitchen records and follow health and safety standards
Food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and ability to pass a background check
