Job description

MATRIX is a national company providing camps, logistics and aviation management services to a diverse range of clients in the resource and service sectors, focusing on safety, transparency and cost effectiveness. In this role as a Camp Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative functions for one of our camps located in the Chisasibi Region of Northern Quebec, helping to ensure smooth operations and providing excellent customer service to our camp guests and other clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate camp logistics including transportation, accommodations, and catering services.
  • Greet and check in, camp guests.
  • Ensure guests are checked out, and initiate billing timely and accurately.
  • Manage camp administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Monitor camp inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies.
  • Assist with timesheet submissions and employee scheduling and travel.
  • Conduct daily quality assurance inspections, of cleanliness, food quality and guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the management team on camp planning and budgeting.
  • Respond to inquiries and provide support to camp staff and clients.

Requirements

  • Must be fully fluent in both English and French - writing, speaking etc.
  • Previous experience in camp administration or a similar role is required.
  • Level 1 First Aid Certification or equivalent 2-day course - required

  • Assurer le depart des invites et initier la facturation en temps opportun et avec precision.
  • Gerer les taches administratives du camp telles que la saisie de donnees, le classement et la tenue de dossiers.
  • Surveiller les niveaux d'inventaire du camp et passer des commandes pour les fournitures necessaires.
  • Assister aux soumissions de feuilles de temps, a la planification des horaires des employes et aux deplacements.
  • Effectuer des inspections quotidiennes de l'assurance qualite, de la proprete, de la qualite des aliments et des experiences des invites.
  • Collaborer avec l'equipe de direction sur la planification et le budget du camp.
  • Repondre aux demandes de renseignements et fournir un soutien au personnel et aux clients du camp.

Exigences :

  • Doit etre parfaitement fluide en francais, a l'ecrit comme a l'oral, etc.
  • Une experience prealable dans l'administration de camp ou un role similaire est requise.
  • Certification de premiers soins de niveau 1 ou cours equivalent de 2 jours - requis
  • Competences solides en organisation et gestion du temps
