This August, the YMCA of Southwest Florida is expanding our Before & After School Care program into 4 new elementary schools, and weโ€™re building an incredible team to bring energy, creativity, and leadership to our sites.

Every day, youโ€™ll help create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive.Depending on your experience, your role may include:


Working Directly with Kids
  • Lead fun, age-appropriate activities like games, crafts, sports, and enrichment
  • Build meaningful relationships with students and families
  • Support childrenโ€™s social, emotional, and physical development
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment at all times
  • Help create structure, routines, and a positive group dynamic
Program Leadership & Site Support (for experienced candidates)
  • Help oversee daily site operations and program flow
  • Support or lead staff, ensuring activities are organized and engaging
  • Communicate with families and school partners
  • Assist with planning special events, spirit days, and family engagement opportunities
  • Ensure program quality, safety standards, and licensing compliance

  • Ability to pass background screening and meet YMCA/DCF requirements
  • CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

  • Morning shifts (Before School)
