  • Plan and develop weekly, full-day camp curriculum for assigned age groups during the month of May that aligns with camp goals and themes.
  • Supervise camp opening and closing procedures for campers and staff.
  • Be present during morning camp operations and utilize afternoons for planning and "management by walking around."
  • Identify and request camp equipment and supply needs in a timely manner.
  • Prepare supplies and materials for daily activities.
  • Use creativity, prior experience, and external resources to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Plan and execute weekly camp field trips when applicable, including transportation, fees, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate camp schedules with Camp Recky Directors.
  • Oversee implementation of camp curriculum by camp counselors.
  • Maintain organization of camp equipment and supplies.
  • Engage directly with campers and remain accessible to staff throughout the day.
  • Communicate with parents daily and assist with handling camper incidents.
  • Support camper behavior management and maintain behavior documentation.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and assist with camp staff training.
  • Fill in for absent staff members as needed.
