Job description

Our Summer Camp Counselors are some of our hardest workers. We do everything we can to make sure all the kids that come through our camp stay safe, have fun, and go home with many stories of how they can't wait to come back. All counselors go through intense training to make sure we are prepared for the summer in the short amount of time we have before camp starts. Training begins as early as April 1, but no later than May 23rd List of basic trainings are below.


Red Cross Lifeguard certification is required (shallow water attendant accepted)

Swim Teacher Instructor Training (20-40 hours)

Heat Illness Prevention training

Tennis Drill Training

Basic Camp Counselor Training (10-20 hours)

Mandatory All Camp Staff Meeting
