DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Boston Red Sox Florida Operations Team is dedicated to providing a world-class environment while serving Baseball Player Development and the community of Southwest Florida. POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Florida Operations department is looking for an individual responsible for assisting in the development and execution of local marketing, community relations, game day presentations, creative services, and administrative initiatives for Florida Operations and Spring Training. This position is also instrumental and designed to help the individual learn the development, coordination and implementation of all aspects of Spring Training at JetBlue Park.
Start: September 28, 2026 | End: April 30, 2027
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Coordinate and schedule all needs for National Anthem singers and Ceremonial First Pitchers.
  • Create day of game scripts and day of game sheet.
  • Oversee the execution of pregame ceremonies and game day presentation.
  • Execute all in game promotions and giveaways.
  • Coordinate and plan the Spring Training Open House and Staff Orientation.
  • Assist in set up and break down of all events held at JetBlue Park including: Spring Training games, Open House, concerts, car shows, charity 5k Races, art shows, and many other events.
  • Coordinate/setup of all pregame Fenway South Drive Entertainment.
  • Contribute to Red Sox Fantasy Camp in weekly set-ups and daily tasks such as scorekeeping, uniform inventory management, and check-ins for external events.
  • Assist in strategy and execution on social media platforms, including X, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Execute local marketing initiatives.
  • Proactively coordinate community-based visits with mascots and players & staff.
  • Transport folks to/from community events.
  • Coordinate and schedule of all JetBlue Community Corner participants.
  • Assist in the execution of all charitable giving efforts and week of service.
  • Develop digital sales and marketing materials.
  • Provide comprehensive ballpark operations support, including event and Spring Training setup and breakdown, facility and safety oversight, logistics and inventory management, coordination with game day staff and vendors, and general day-to-day operational needs at JetBlue Park.
  • Transport Red Sox personnel to and from airports/hotels.
  • Assist with all rental car needs.
  • Assisting with all UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and USPS deliveries.

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Canva.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage large groups of people.
  • Ability to perform manual labor and lift 30 pounds.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • College Credit available, if needed for graduation, but not a requirement.
    • Eligibility begins in junior year or later
  • Ability to work nights, weekend and holidays.
