Job description

What we need:
We are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Administrative Professional 1 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Buck Creek State Park , assigned to Clark county. What you will do...
  • Provide secretarial assistance by performing routine administrative tasks at Buck Creek State Park
  • Work with volunteer groups at the parks by providing and collecting forms, updating special event calendars, as needed and serving as liaison between park manager and volunteer groups;
  • Serve as liaison between park management and staff to communicate and collect paperwork;
  • Prepare weekly financial reports
  • Perform administrative duties such as dock inspections, dock lotteries, and processing dock license fees, preparing and making bank deposits, assist with campground administration, prepare arrival reports, place and remove camp tags, work with camp host volunteers, make retail sales etc.
  • Provide excellent customer service through answering phones, screening & directing calls, greeting visitors, giving directions and responding to office email account.
  • Starting hourly pay of $22.59/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 5.5 years of service, with an end salary of $26.54/hr
  • There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates. OCSEA Employees | Department of Administrative Services

Qualifications
1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications. For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
