Job description

Velocitor Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and solutions-driven RFID & Camera Deployment Specialist to lead the successful rollout of both RFID and vehicle camera technologies across customer environments. This hybrid role blends hands-on technical implementation with installation coordination and quality assurance. The position will focus approximately 70% on RFID implementations and 30% on camera deployment coordination, with flexibility to adjust based on customer needs and project demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and brings a strong combination of technical expertise, organizational discipline, and field leadership.

Key Responsibilities

RFID Implementation (Primary Focus ~70%)

· Design and implement RFID solutions tailored to customer environments

· Perform site surveys, installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting

· Lead onsite deployment activities, ensuring project milestones and quality standards are met

· Configure and maintain RFID hardware/software (readers, portals, printers, tagging systems)

· Partner with Project Managers to plan deployments, manage risks, and resolve technical challenges

· Provide post-implementation support and optimization to ensure system performance

· Contribute to internal documentation, training materials, and best practices

Camera Installation Coordination (~30%)

· Coordinate camera system installations across customer fleets, including scheduling and logistics

· Serve as primary point of contact for installers, customers, and internal teams regarding deployment activities

· Ensure all prerequisites are ready prior to installation

· Track installation progress and provide regular status updates

Quality Assurance & Compliance

· Validate installations meet company standards and acceptance criteria

· Review installation evidence (photos, connectivity, configuration, system visibility)

· Ensure adherence to installation procedures, safety standards, and company policies

· Identify defects, escalate issues, and drive resolution

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Work closely with Product, Hardware, Support, Sales, and Project Management teams

· Communicate risks, delays, and readiness across stakeholders

· Support pilot programs and large-scale deployments

Required Qualifications

· 3+ years of experience in RFID systems, field deployments, or installation coordination

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects

· Demonstrated ability to enforce standards and ensure quality

· Customer-facing experience

· Must possess a valid passport or be able to obtain one upon hire

· Must be eligible to travel internationally, including the ability to enter and work in countries where Velocitor Solutions Conduct business.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in a related field

· Experience with vehicle electronics, telematics, or camera systems preferred

· Hands-on experience with RFID technologies

· Familiarity with AIDC technologies
