Your role at Clorox:

At Clorox Atlanta Main Facility, we are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician or Skilled Trades professional to support building systems, utilities, and site infrastructure. This role is intentionally flexible to attract a wide range of candidates-from general facilities technicians to licensed or highly skilled trades professionals such as Electricians, HVAC Mechanics, Boiler/Chiller Technicians, Plumbers, Compressed Air Mechanics, Cooling Tower Technicians, or Multi-Craft specialists.
The ideal candidate will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility systems to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient work environment. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong troubleshooting ability, and the willingness to collaborate across maintenance, production, and contractor teams.
This role is a critical part of the Maintenance organization, supporting the Atlanta Main Facility, grounds, and utilities, with particular emphasis on HVAC systems, compressed air systems, cooling towers, fire protection systems, gates, and site infrastructure.
Starting Hourly Rate: $35.60- $40.21 (adjustable based on experience, certifications, and trade specialization).

In this role, you will:

This role directly supports plant operations by ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of facility utilities and building infrastructure systems. The position is responsible for maintaining critical systems such as HVAC, compressed air, cooling towers, boilers, and site infrastructure to enable safe and efficient production.
Candidates may be placed into roles aligned with their experience, certifications, and trade specialization to meet the operational needs of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of buildings, utilities, and facility systems

  • Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, chillers, compressed air systems, cooling towers, fire protection systems, gates, and general infrastructure

  • Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance

  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies

  • Support installation and improvement of systems

  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors

  • Maintain inventory and assist with procurement

  • Support capital projects and facility modifications

  • Prepare maintenance reports and attend daily meetings

  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures

  • Operate forklifts and support 5S initiatives

SAP / CMMS Responsibilities

  • Manage work schedules in SAP PM

  • Complete and close work orders

  • Create new work orders and record repair data

  • Prioritize and escalate work

  • Support planning and parts staging

What we look for:

  • 2-3 years of maintenance or skilled trades experience

  • - Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, access control/cameras, boilers/chillers, compressed air, cooling towers, and/or building maintenance

  • Strong troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with tools and CMMS systems (SAP preferred)

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

  • Preferred Qualifications

Working Conditions
