What You Will Do:
  • Performing mid-to-advanced level repairs on digital and analog camera equipment, lenses, and accessories
  • Diagnosing a wide range of issues using technical knowledge and testing tools
  • Request purchase orders from appropriate vendors for repairs
  • Manage workload and transport photo gear from contractor location to the warehouse
  • Communicate with the administration team on service updates, technician notes.
  • Documenting repair work, parts usage, and technical observations in our system
  • Skills Needed to be Successful:
  • Professional experience in repair, soldering, troubleshooting, or related fields.
  • Mechanical or electronic aptitude.
  • Previous experience with an OEM
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • The ability to self-manage and switch between tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to follow instructions.
  • Patience, tact, and confidence when dealing with complex issues.
  • Photographic/product knowledge experience (a plus).
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to build merchant category budget.
  • Basic knowledge of applied statistics, core machine learning algorithms and basic AI principles
