Electrical Apprentices work under the supervision of licensed electricians in the residential, service, and commercial electrical industry. These individuals are offered the opportunity to work full-time in the field to gain exposure to the electrical industry with plans to enroll in our state approved apprenticeship program for electrical trades.

What You'll Do:

  • Work with licensed Journeyman and Master electricians.
  • Help perform installation and maintenance of electrical systems and generators on single-family, multi-family, and commercial buildings throughout the greater Richmond area.
  • Help perform preventative maintenance and service of existing electrical systems.
  • Aid installs and repairs of electrical equipment and lighting.
  • Assist with installs and troubleshooting special systems such as fire alarms, access controls, security cameras, and AV.
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A passion for the Electrical industry and willingness to pursue an Electrical education.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
