The Assistant to the Chairperson of the Shimer Great
Books School helps maintain the smooth functioning
of the School's day-today operations, particularly
through maintaining non-sensitive records and other
office duties; manages the School's social media
accounts and other promotional materials; develops
and runs events on behalf of the School's students;
alumni and prospective students; liaises with the
department of Admissions on events for prospective
students; and maintains the School's social spaces.

- Must be enrolled as a student at North
Central College
The student must be responsible, dependable, and
willing to work. The student must have excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. The student
must be punctual. Previous social media experience is

faculty member. Preference will be given to students
in the Shimer Great Books Program.
