Medical Doctors Only Apply. A Gastroenterology Physician Gastroenterologist (GI) practice is seeking a qualified physician for Orlando, FL. This and other physician jobs brought to you by ExactMD. Hospital needs a GI who is local to the Orlando area (or close by) who can take on weekend call. Here is a brief summary of the GI need: · Two weekends a month coverage / every other weekend (Fri 5PM – Sun or Mon TBD) · 5 – 8 inpatient and ED consults per day · 1 – 3 inpatient scopes daily · calls plus 4hr of rounds/procedures per day. · Daily rounding on Dr. patients Covering call for one doc and his patient panel. Start ASAP. Ongoing. Looking to pay a flat rate for the full Fri 5p to Mon 8a; $5500 which includes 4hr of work per day. This equates to approx. $1000 to carry the pager on Fri/ Sat/Sun and paid $200/hr to see pts each day . If work exceeds the 4hr/day as stated above, then paid $200/hr. Must have FL license. If outside FL housing and transportation cost will be provided.
