Job Description
Are you a Telecom Engineer who would like to work at an innovative and fast-paced company changing the way doctors interact with their patients? If so, we want to talk to you!
What you'll be doing:
Provides implementation and maintenance support of enterprise electronic voice communications network. Provide scalable voice network solution for clinical and campus environments and assist senior team members on complex projects, including all technical aspects of: Voice Network Management solutions, SoNet Ring implementations, design and new voice switch implementations, technical and procedural documentation, and disaster recovery planning/testing. Provides analyst functions of: trunk/network utilization and traffic balancing and recommendations, security violations, technical aspects of the Call Accounting implementation, project planning, IVR/ACD/call routing design and implementation, cost management, and new technology implementation. Performs other advanced telecommunications duties including strategic planning. Performs assignments in troubleshooting software and/or hardware problems for voice network based systems and installation. Works with internal customers, vendors, and internal support personnel to achieve maximum network and equipment availability in a critical need 7 X 24 environment. Overtime and on-call support as needed.
Qualifications
We want our people to be set up for success, so we have a few required skill sets that must be met:
• Four years of technical experience in Nortel PBX /Key/MerMail/Meridian Max/Client, Cisco Call Manager system administration management with a BA Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent technical field; OR 6 years of technical experience in Nortel/Client PBX management without a BA Degree or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
• Cisco Call Manager and VoIP arena experience a must.
• Four years call center experience required.
• Proven experience in dealing with carriers, equipment vendors, and cost management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Word, Access, Project, and Visio required.
