Customer Service Representative

Foster Manufacturing is pleased to announce we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a high-energy, multi-tasker, customer-oriented with experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This customer service representative (CSR) will act as a liaison, handle administrative tasks, provide product/services information, resolve customer issues, and be comfortable making outbound calls to accounts.

The target is to ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates are problem-solvers, confident at troubleshooting, and able to investigate thoroughly if they don't have enough information to resolve customer issues.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with 30-minute lunch break.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Print orders, organize back orders, file paperwork, mail invoices
  • Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Work closely with the Production Scheduler to determine new ship dates for customers
  • Enter customer orders accurately & efficiently
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Generate leads: Make outbound calls to new & existing accounts
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Updating Data from ERP System
  • Performs other related or additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to customers
  • Excellent communication
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel & creating spreadsheet.
  • Ability to learn our products and components.
  • Understand lead times in order to create new ship dates.
  • High energy & Multitasker a must
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service experience required
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
