What to Expect

Tesla is looking for an onsite Call Center Outbound Phone Sales Advisor to help us fulfill our mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy while creating lifelong customers.

The core responsibility of this role is engaging with customers in a consultative approach to influence the purchase of a Tesla product and provide support throughout the complete sales and delivery process. Activities can range from responding to inbound leads, to scheduling test drives, to coordinating delivery, to responding to new needs of the business.

Candidates must be energetic, highly organized, and hard-working team players who are receptive to ongoing coaching. Qualified candidates may have a background in sales or customer service and can thrive in a fast-paced business or call center environment.

What You'll Do
  • Provide the highest level of verbal and written customer service in a timely and professional manner through phone, SMS, email, and chat
  • Use top tier organization and time management skills to maintain a high-volume pipeline while achieving both personal and group monthly metrics
  • Assist clients in preparation for delivery post-order and maintain their enthusiasm to join the brand
  • Proactively work cross functionally with field partners, delivery, finance, lease returns, and marketing teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience
  • Act as the main point of contact for current Tesla owners navigating their lease end or trade-in journey to execute on all options including and beyond a new Tesla purchase
  • Collaborate with fellow team members and departments to resolve complex issues and suggest improvements to better serve our customers
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs

What You'll Bring
  • Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
  • Ability to speak persuasively and confidently and able to present technical information in a way that is clear and accessible to a wide range of audiences
  • Positive and energetic with professional and excellent customer service skills with excellent listening, reading, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and handling shifting priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays in an office environment
  • Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools (Microsoft Outlook and Office, internet navigation)
  • Valid US Driver's License and/or State ID must be obtained before hire date and ability to obtain DMV Salesperson's License required. (Tesla will provide guidance and monetary assistance inobtaining licenses. Licensing process must be initiated by the third week of employment. Failure to obtain a license by the second month of employment will result in termination
