About Our Role:

Calibration and Repair Technician role is full-time and onsite 5 days per week in our Sterling, Virginia office with occasional travel to our additional locations in Houston, TX; Burr Ridge, IL; and Phoenix, AZ. This role will report directly to the Calibration & Support Manager.

What You Will Do:?

  • Check-in and calibrate electrical equipment with proper instrumentation according to established procedures.
  • Assign and track customer calibration jobs (at a branch level) and help ensure timely turnaround and clear communication of status updates.
  • Assist with creating new test and calibration procedures.
  • Perform basic and advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting on electric equipment using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Able to travel for field calibration services (2x per month) and cross-training as needed.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-year hands on working with Electrical Equipment and/or Calibration equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuit theory.
  • Strong math and computer skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player and independently.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong communication and detailed writing skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Associate's degree preferred.

Pay:

  • $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Hours:

  • 9:30am – 6:00 pm
  • No less than 40 hours per week
