Job Summary:


We are seeking a full time experienced Calibration Technician to work in our Wichita, KS Calibration Laboratory.


Technicians will be responsible to complete calibrations, collect and report calibration data, prioritize work schedule and manage customer accounts. Technicians will be responsible to complete high level test equipment calibration, collect and process calibration data, train personnel, and manage shop assignments. Military experience / training , PMEL, or Quality Assurance experience is a plus. Full benefits are available.

This is a full time position, requiring in person attendance at our laboratory and/or at customer locations.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibrations on a wide range of dimensional, electrical, and mechanical instruments to ensure accuracy and compliance with manufacturer specifications
  • Collect, document, and report calibration data with precision and adherence to quality assurance (QA) protocols
  • Identify and document out of tolerance conditions as required
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and perform minor repairs to optimize performance when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer support by interacting directly with customer representatives in person, through email and phone calls
  • Manage and prioritize work schedules and customer accounts to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Being a team player by diligently completing assignments, participating in training initiatives, providing feedback and improvement suggestions, interacting with teammates to foster a positive and supportive winning environment
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards and follow best laboratory practices for data collection and record-keeping.
  • Travel periodically to customer sites and training venues as needed.
  • Always follow company safety procedures
  • Comply with the company’s drug-free workplace program.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years Calibration Experience as a hands-on calibration technician with in-laboratory or on-site calibration experience.
  • Demonstrated capability to perform calibrations on Physical Dimensional test equipment including various hand tools, and calibration of minor Electronic test equipment including hand held multi-meters.


Additional Experience in these areas is a plus:

  • Calibration Laboratory Operation or Management
  • Embedded operations
  • Aviation Industry experience
  • RF Electronics training and experience
  • All US Military Experience – honorable discharge – active security clearance
  • PMEL metrology training or CCT Certification
  • Process Improvement experience – Six Sigma, 5S, TQM, Kaizen
  • Quality Assurance training and experience
