Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The freezer operator is responsible for organizing WIP in the freezers to allow for it to be packaged on a first in, first out basis. The freezer operator is responsible for pulling stacks as needed to supply the packaging workers with flavors to fulfill the days orders. The freezer operator also monitors the metal detector and alerts senior management if there are any issues with the CCP. Employees are trained on food safety and quality and are encouraged to speak up when issues arise and how to produce safe food. This function may require lifting up to and including twenty-five pounds (25 lbs) throughout the shift. Additionally, this position requires adherence to Housekeeping, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safet and all other Company Rules and Policies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Adherence to all Company Standards and Company Policy.
  • Responsible to communicate with co-workers and/or Supervisors regarding product integrity and continuous improvement.
