Cafeteria Associate – Window's Cafe

Join Our Team at Window's Cafe!

Window's Cafe, located within our welcoming Independent Living community, is looking for a friendly, dependable Cafeteria Associate to provide excellent service to our residents. If you enjoy working with people, preparing simple meals, and creating a positive dining experience, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Greet residents with a friendly, helpful attitude.

  • Operate the cash register and accurately process resident purchases.

  • Prepare and serve light meals, sandwiches, soups, salads, and other menu items.

  • Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout the day.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary café and kitchen area.

  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.

  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

  • Work as part of the dining services team to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • Previous cashier, food service, or customer service experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

  • Friendly, patient, and professional with older adults.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Dependable with excellent attendance.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Food Handler certification is a plus but not required.
