Assistant Cafe Manager

The Coffee Class is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Cafe Manager to join our leadership team. This is a hands on role designed for leaders who are passionate about coffee, food, and developing high performing teams. As an ACM, you are responsible for leading both Front of House and Back of House operations while upholding our standards for quality, energy, and service.

At The Coffee Class, we don't just serve coffee, we create experiences. We look for leaders who bring energy, accountability, and a commitment to excellence in everything they do.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily cafe operations across bar, kitchen, and floor
  • Set the tone for guest experience through 100% greeting compliance and strong lobby presence
  • Drive team performance through coaching, feedback, and accountability
  • Ensure all food and beverage items meet quality control standards
  • Execute and oversee opening, closing, and peak service shifts
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all menu items, recipes, and systems
  • Lead by example in upselling, guest engagement, and hospitality
  • Utilize systems such as Toast, Asana, and guest feedback platforms to manage operations
