The Café Manager oversees daily front of house operations for a high traffic cafeteria serving families, tour groups, and staff. This role combines hands on leadership, strong customer service, and operational excellence to ensure an efficient, welcoming dining experience for every guest.

Job Responsibilities

Leadership
•    Use Aramark’s coaching model to support, train, and develop team members.
•    Recognize and reward strong performance.
•    Ensure individual and team goals align with operational and client expectations.
•    Lead daily team briefings to set clear priorities.
•    Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Client & Guest Experience
•    Build strong relationships with the onsite client partner.
•    Identify client needs and communicate operational updates.
•    Ensure consistent, friendly, and efficient service for all guests.

Financial & Operational Performance
•    Support accurate completion and maintenance of P&L statements.
•    Meet financial targets and contribute to margin improvement.
•    Use Aramark systems to understand performance metrics, inventory trends, and ordering patterns.
•    Coach the team on key drivers of operational and financial success.

Productivity & Quality
•    Ensure all team members are trained and confident in their roles.
•    Oversee food quality, presentation, and speed of service.
•    Maintain food and labor targets through efficient workflows and cost controls.
•    Supervise production, quality, and portion control.

Compliance
•    Maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and employees.
•    Follow all policies and regulations related to food safety, sanitation, health, wage, and hour.

Qualifications

•    Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
