Nestled within our life plan community, theFreedom Café caters to residents, family members, guests, and staff members ofFreedom Village. The Café Attendant will oversee and supervise the daily operations of theFreedom Café. This person will assist, lead, train, and supervise Café staffunder direct supervision and assistance of the Sous Chef.
Job Duties:
• Effectively communicates with management, customers, the team and otheremployees
• Supervises and participates in the preparation, cooking and serving of foodand beverage items in the Café
• Assists team in organizing and cleaning the Café area and all equipment
• Ensures the Café area is presentable at all times
• Manages inventory
• Follows proper food storage regulations
• Plans and engages in employee appreciation events for the team
• Ensures proper handling of the cash register - confirms daily reports andcharge slips are correct
• Provides a "WOW" customer experience for all customers of the Café
Minimum Qualifications:
• Food and Beverage related supervisory experience
