Job description

Summary: 

This role will support CAE development activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing. 
  • Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing Abaqus 
  • Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using nCode and Metapost for post processing. 
  • Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results. 
  • Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals. 
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance. 
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes. 
  • Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules. 
  • Travel to client site required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5+ years relevant exp. or Master's degree in Engineering and 3+ years relevant exp
  • Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
  • Experience with CAE tools Abaqus, Ansa, and nCode are required. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • CAD design experience preferred
