Top Flat-Rate Opportunity for Experienced GM, Cadillac & Domestic Technicians

Are you an experienced Automotive Service Technician, Cadillac Technician, GM Technician, Master Technician, or Automotive Diagnostic Technician looking for a dealership that values your expertise?

CMA's Colonial Auto Center is seeking a highly skilled Cadillac Technician to join our growing service team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong diagnostic abilities, dealership experience, and a proven track record of repairing domestic vehicles. We are looking for professionals who can confidently diagnose and repair today's advanced automotive systems while delivering exceptional quality and productivity.


This position is intended for experienced technicians and is not an entry-level, maintenance technician, or quick lube role.


What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair Cadillac vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Perform advanced electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and HVAC diagnostics and repairs
  • Utilize OEM diagnostic equipment and scan tools
  • Perform warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
  • Complete repair documentation and inspections thoroughly
  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management
  • Stay current on GM and Cadillac technologies, repair procedures, and training

Compensation

Flat Rate Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per Flagged Hour

Compensation is based on experience, skill level, certifications, diagnostic ability, productivity, and manufacturer training. Technicians with advanced technical training, ASE certifications, Honda experience, and proven diagnostic expertise have the opportunity to earn at the higher end of the pay range.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of professional automotive technician experience
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical and drivability concerns
  • Proficiency with modern diagnostic equipment and scan tools
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to maintain productivity and quality standards in a flat-rate environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of automotive technician experience preferred
  • 2+ years of dealership technician experience preferred
  • Previous experience with Cadillac, GM, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or RAM vehicles strongly preferred
  • ASE Certifications preferred
  • GM or Cadillac factory training preferred
  • Master Technician level experience highly desired
  • State Inspection License preferred
  • Proven track record performing engine repair, transmission replacement, electrical diagnostics, and major mechanical repairs
  • Experience producing consistent hours in a flat-rate pay plan
