Job description

You will be the CAD/CAM Engineer Staff for the CAD/CAM & PLM organization which is responsible for advancing training and bestpractice processes across all aeronautical sites.


What You Will Be Doing


As the CAD/CAM Engineer Staff you will be responsible for leading the CAD and PLM training program, developing standards, and ensuring the engineering community can efficiently use the tools and processes required for mission success.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for CATIAV5, 3DX, NX, and Xcelerator across design, analysis, manufacturing, tooling, sustainment, and specialty engineering teams.

  • Create and maintain training documentation, standards, and processes for CAD/CAM and PLM tools.

  • Collaborate with Aero IT and the Design Process Integration team to define engineering dataset standards and update the Engineering Process Control Manual.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the CAD/CAM & PLM environment, applying expertise in Model Based Analysis, Design, and Manufacturing.

  • Coordinate with CAD/PLM instructors and subjectmatter experts to tailor training to functional objectives and ensure program goals are met.
