Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct substance abuse evaluations
• Interview clients for admission
• Facilitate DUI groups -- Education & Therapy and other supplemental groups
• Communicate probation/parole officers, families, and community agencies Maintain required documentation in all areas including, but not limited to: counselors admit notes, assessments, group notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries according to company standards and as directed by Office of Behavioral Health.
Qualifications
Qualifications: a CAC II or CAC III
Experience running Level II Education and Therapy groups
Certified in the Change Co. Interactive Journaling curriculum
or willingness to acquire such train
Must pass background check
Able to work independently and integrate well with a team
Excellent communication verbally and in writing
Strong computer skills
Attention to Detail and Organization Skills, timely task completion
Familiar with evidence-based treatment model
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Minimum of 2-5 years working in substance abuse field
Experience providing substance abuse treatment to adult offenders and adolescents
