Job Description Cable Shop Technician - ESP (Oilfield) Location: Shop-Based Position Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM LOTS OF OT EXPECTED Pay: Starting at $22/hour + Overtime On-Call: Every other weekend Hours expected 70-80 hrs/wk Position Overview We are seeking a Cable Shop Technician to support our Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) operations in a shop environment. This role focuses on splicing, repairing, preparing, and spooling ESP cable for field deployment. This is not a field position - all work is performed in the shop.
This is a hands-on role requiring mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work extended hours. Work Schedule & Hours Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime expected Every other weekend on-call rotation Average hours: ~70 hours on shorter weeks ~85 hours on full production weeks This position offers significant overtime opportunity.
