Blue Ridge Cable Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of telecommunications construction projects.


This agent will assist with make-ready reviews, pole audits, quality control initiatives, employee training, and project coordination. Will work closely with construction personnel, supervisors, and engineering teams to support the successful completion of projects.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Make Ready Coordination
    • Coordinate, review, and maintain Make Ready documentation for projects
    • Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design and construction standards
    • Track project status and assist in resolving issues that may impact project timelines
  • Field Reviews and Cost Estimation
    • Conduct field surveys and site assessments to verify make ready project requirements
    • Evaluate construction conditions and identify potential obstacles or required adjustments
    • Develop make ready cost estimates, and material requirements based on field reviews
  • Quality Control and Construction Support
    • Perform field audits and inspections to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and company standards
    • Support construction projects by providing technical guidance and assistance as needed
    • Assist in implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes throughout all phases of construction


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Training and Development
    • Assist in training and mentoring construction personnel on company procedures, construction standards, and best practices
    • Support the training and development of new employees
    • Provide guidance to help ensure consistency and quality standards in the field
  • Project Coordination
    • Provide regular project updates, reports, and status communications to Construction Supervisors and Management
    • Coordinate with internal departments, supervisors, and utility partners to support project success


Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Established residency in Pennsylvania
  • Valid PA Driver's License
  • Experience in Telecommunications Construction, Engineering, and the Make Ready process
  • Experience conducting field reviews of poles and coax/fiber lines
  • Experience with fiber optic and outside plant (OSP) construction projects
  • Familiarity with utility pole attachment regulations and permitting processes
  • Working knowledge of Telecommunications Construction standards and specifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and construction management software
  • Strong Organizational and Project Coordination Skills
  • Excellent Communications Skills - Oral and Written
  • Ability to show commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and continuous improvement
