Job description

OVERVIEW
Starting wage is based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Construction Resources offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits.

The CAD Engineer is responsible for programming equipment in order to efficiently increase and improve production of custom cabinetry to meet customersโ€™ specific orders per business unit, including Retail, Builder, and Commercial accounts. CAD Engineers design, develop, test, and maintain tools and systems used for computer-aided design processes. Prior cabinetry experience required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for producing detailed drawings ready for production approval and execution.
  • Meet Key Performance Metrics and/or Productivity Goals as defined by the business.
  • Strive to improve business performance. Constant product improvement.
  • Ensure that all products produced meet Quality Standards.
  • Work as a dedicated team member providing fast, flexible, and excellent service to our customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ previous Cabinet Vision experience is required.
  • Experience in the cabinetry industry.
  • Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience as a Cabinet Vision Designer/Engineer.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, engineering, math, and materials.
  • Previous experience in the custom cabinetry industry.
