Job description

Feist Cabinets & Woodworks is a trusted leader in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork, known for delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team and contribute to building beautiful, precision-made projects.


Position Summary:

The Woodworking Specialist will play a key role in producing custom cabinetry, millwork, and components with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and attention to detail. This position requires advanced woodworking knowledge, hands-on fabrication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and architectural plans.

  • Set up and operate woodworking machines such as table saws, jointers, planers, shapers, and sanders.

  • Assemble cabinetry and millwork components according to specifications and quality standards.

  • Inspect materials and final products to ensure accuracy and finish quality.

  • Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and production leads to resolve technical challenges.

  • Maintain tools and equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

  • Assist in mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge and craftsmanship best practices.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in custom woodworking or cabinetry fabrication.

  • Strong understanding of woodworking materials, joinery techniques, and finishing processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Experience with both hand tools and industrial woodworking machinery.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Preferred but Not Required:
  • CNC machine operation or programming experience.

  • Experience in commercial millwork or high-end residential cabinetry.

  • Familiarity with Cabinet Vision or other shop drawing software.
