Job description


We are an established and growing company specializing in custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. Our reputation is built on precision craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a talented Cabinet Designer to join our team and take projects from concept to completion.


Position Summary:

The Cabinet Designer will manage projects from start to finish, including client consultations, design development, drafting, material selection, and coordination with production and installation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical design skills, excellent project management abilities, and experience with Cabinet Vision software.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with clients to determine design needs, style preferences, and functional requirements.
  • Create detailed cabinetry designs, layouts, and renderings using Cabinet Vision (preferred).
  • Prepare accurate drawings, material lists, and cut sheets for production.
  • Manage projects from initial concept through fabrication and installation.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and installation teams to ensure design accuracy and project timelines are met.
  • Recommend materials, finishes, and hardware to match client specifications and budget.
  • Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions for accuracy.
  • Oversee revisions and resolve design or technical issues as they arise.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of cabinet design experience (custom residential or commercial preferred).
  • Proficiency in Cabinet Vision strongly preferred; other CAD-based software experience considered.
  • Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction methods, materials, and hardware.
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
