Pay Rate: $ 10.00 per hour
Shift: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Days: Saturdays only

Huntleigh USA is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cabin Cleaners to join our Operations team at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). This role plays a vital part in delivering a safe, clean, and welcoming aircraft environment for airline passengers while maintaining compliance with airline and TSA safety regulations.
Position Summary
The Part-Time Cabin Cleaner is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitized, and orderly aircraft interiors. Team members ensure aircraft are properly prepared for passenger boarding while upholding Huntleigh USA's high standards of safety, professionalism, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Vacuum, wipe down surfaces, remove trash, and perform general aircraft cleaning duties
  • Restock and organize cleaning supplies
  • Conduct required aircraft searches in compliance with TSA procedures
  • Identify and report safety hazards, damages, or unusual findings
  • Safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Complete incident reports as needed
  • Follow all company, airline, and TSA policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards

Qualifications
  • Ability to pass an FBI background check
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Previous cleaning or fast-paced work experience preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and reach all areas of the aircraft interior
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Work Environment
  • Airport and aircraft setting with exposure to moderate noise levels
  • Possible exposure to outdoor weather conditions, fumes, and cleaning chemicals

  • Company-issued uniform shirt and reflective safety vest will be provided and must be worn at all times while on duty
  • Black pants or black slacks required (no jeans permitted)

  • No visible tattoos that cannot be fully covered
  • Minimal jewelry; no excessive accessories
  • Hair must be neat and professional; long hair must be secured
  • Airport security badge must be visibly displayed at all times
