Job description

SchureMed is seeking an energetic CNC Lathe Machine Operator to join our growing team. What You'll Do
  • Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-precision components to print specifications.
  • Determine machining sequence, select tooling, prepare program layout, and execute programs for consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Work from blueprints, shop orders, and verbal instructions to machine components to exacting tolerances.
  • Set up jobs with existing tooling/fixtures, and when needed, design or fabricate specialized fixtures or holding devices.
  • Select proper tooling, load/verify programs, adjust offsets, and perform in-process corrections to maintain accuracy.
  • Inspect all machined components using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company quality and safety procedures.
  • Support daily production and perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
