Job Description
As a Geek Squad Senior Repair Technician (Agent), you'll lend your tech expertise and leadership ability to overseeing technology support at a Best Buy store. You'll train and coach agents in repairs and services in accordance with Geek Squad's high standards and serve as a role model for the team. Your efforts will result in world-class employee and customer experiences while driving exceptional business results. Internally, this role is known as a CIA Agent.
What you'll do
  • Assist other Geek Squad leaders with assigning staff to customer service, device diagnosis, repair, service and follow-up
  • Communicate department goals and other important information to team members in a clear, accurate and timely manner
  • Work directly with customers to ensure they receive the service they need and to resolve escalated customer service issues
  • Provide coaching to agents to develop their customer service and technology repair skills
  • Provide ongoing collaboration and answer questions for team members and other store employees to achieve goals and maintain high standards of customer service

Basic qualifications
  • 1 year of experience in diagnosing and repairing PCs or consumer electronics
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • 1 year of leadership experience, including coaching, training and recognition

Preferred qualifications
  • Experience working with Windows operating systems
