What You'll Do - You'll Make the Moment

At Cracker Barrel, our retail experience is more than shopping - it's a memory that guests take home. As a Retail District Manager, you will drive operational excellence, support store performance, and develop future leaders across multiple stores. You'll lead your district to strong financial results while ensuring every store delivers the goodness of country hospitality.
District Operations

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Retail Managers and hourly retail employees across your district

  • Use business metrics and sales trends to set clear goals and drive measurable improvement in each store

  • Partner with your Restaurant District Manager counterpart to ensure alignment on guest experience, cleanliness, and brand standards


Manage Store Performance

  • Analyze inventory performance, guest traffic, and sales conversion to maximize profitability

  • Regularly visit each store in your district to assess performance, ensure operational excellence, and support your team firsthand

  • Maintain a healthy profit/loss ratio in every gift shop by managing expenses and identifying opportunities for growth
