Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a C-130 Flightline APG Mechanic to join a leading Company located in the Greenville, SC surrounding area.

This position will be part of the Aircraft Maintenance Team. The mechanic will perform/assist with all launch, recovery, preflight/thru flight/basic post-flight inspections, ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing. 

Pay Rate: $34.00 - $38.00  
Schedule: 4/10-1st Shift Mon. thru Thurs.; 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM 
Must be able to start 5/4/26

Job Responsibilities:  
  • Perform routine troubleshooting, installation, repair and maintenance of all electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components on the aircraft. 
  • Responsible for the acceptability of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces and periodic inspections, general airframe condition, aircraft furnishings and crew escape system of the aircraft. 
  • Will be required to remove panels and associated hardware to obtain access to equipment requiring repair.

Basic Hiring Criteria: 
  • Need to be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include:
    • Landing gear
    • Powerplants
    • Flight controls
    • Fueling/Defueling
    • Aircraft movement/Launch & Recovery
  • Must Have 5+ Years of recent aircraft experience (C-130 preferred but not required).

Desired Qualifications: 
  • Aircraft Flightline Experience is Preferred.
