BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Technical Architecture & System Stability Assessment Lead for both MD area as well as PA area.  These positions are full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required in PA and MD. The average workday is 8 hours and the window in which those 8 hours may be scheduled is between 6:00am hours and 6:00pm hours eastern time, Monday through Friday except for Government Holidays with the core hours (9am to 3pm) being covered.  
As a Technical Architecture & System Stability Assessment Lead you are the senior technical advisor responsible for delivering the RFQmandated Technical Architecture & Stability Assessment. This role performs deep architectural analysis, maps dependencies, evaluates stability and performance, reviews security posture, and produces a prioritized stabilization roadmap—including PACS migration options, Citrix reduction strategies, and usability enhancements. The Lead ensures the Commonwealth receives actionable technical recommendations that reduce operational risk during COTS modernization while preserving continuity.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years technical/enterprise architecture experience 
  • Expertise in legacy systems, modernization, and migration strategies 
  • Strong background in system stability, performance diagnostics, and dependency mapping. 
  • Knowledge of security operations, monitoring, and vulnerability management 
  • Ability to produce clear technical documentation for mixed technical/nontechnical audiences.
