BVA Bear's IT Solutions is seeking a part-time Senior Data Analytics & Location-Based Services (LBS) Lead
This role Leads evaluation of LBS data, analytical methodologies, provider comparisons, data integration opportunities, and development of data-driven recommendations supporting visitor-use management and strategic decision-making. The location of this position, when needed on-site, is Harrisburg, PA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Evaluate multiple LBS providers and methodologies
- Assess data quality, coverage, accuracy, and analytical capabilities
- Analyze visitor origins, travel patterns, dwell times, and visitation trends
- Support development of case studies and comparative assessments
- Identify data gaps and integration opportunities
- Develop analytical reports, findings, and recommendations
- Support economic, recreation, and operational analyses
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Required Qualifications-
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Geography, GIS, Statistics, Planning, Computer Science, or related field
  • - 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, mobility data, GIS, or data assessment
  • - Experience evaluating large datasets and analytical methodologies
  • - Strong reporting, visualization, and communication skills
  • - Experience supporting public-sector or consulting engagements preferred
  • -Must be within 2 hours of Harrisburg, PA
