Dishwashers play an important role in delivering the superior service and atmosphere that is central to Eddie Merlot's. The Dishwasher is responsible for properly cleaning and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and pots. In addition, a Dishwasher maintains the dish room and dish machine and assists with cleaning other areas of the kitchen and restaurant as requested.

Partner with Bussers, Runners, Cooks, Butchers, Managers, and other team members to ensure that each and every guest receives outstanding food and hospitality. Responsibilities Complete and pass required training modules - both initial and ongoing. Know the weekly work schedule, arrive at work on time, and meet standards for cleanliness and appearance.

Communicate with Executive Chef or Sous Chef to learn about nightly specials, guest flow, banquets, or special events. Set up station in accordance with standard procedures. Maintain work station in a clean and orderly condition.

Scrap, sort, and stack or load dishes to be washed. Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots, and pans using dish machine - using proper water temperature and measurements of detergent and sanitizer. Wash items by hand as needed.

Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated stocking and storage areas. Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of the shift. Keep dish and other storage areas clean, safe, and well-organized.

Assist with cleaning and maintenance throughout the kitchen. Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pick-up areas. Clean and sanitize trash cans.

Clean and sanitizes dumpster and refuse areas according to standards. Powers wash all floor mats. May assist with sweep and scrubbing floors.

Assist with spot cleaning of furniture, floors, carpets, walls, countertops, and other surfaces throughout the building. Assist with storing food, equipment, small wares, supplies, and other stock items throughout the restaurant. Clean and perform routine maintenance to the exterior of the building according to the housekeeping, cleaning, and maintenance schedule.

Demonstrate teamwork. Attend team meetings. Communicate information regarding requests, complaints, or ideas for improvement to Managers.

Follow company policies and procedures, as well as sanitation and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. .
