Program Description:

The Sophomore Career Exploration Internship gives undergraduate sophomores the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a unique institution. Through dynamic, project-based work assignments and professional development activities, students get:

Sophomore interns work in one specific business area or function fortenweeks, andhave access to opportunities for collaboration with other students and employees from around the Bank.

At the end of the program, students leave with strong skills, professional connections, and meaningful experiences that will support them in their long-term careers.

HowYou'llMake an Impact as a Technology Intern (Sophomore)

  • Candidates willbe responsible fortechnology work in any of our IT areas, including but not limited to information security, data management, software development, business operations, or end user services.

  • Responsibilities may include coding software, testing code, preparing and managing data, and/or running competitive analyses and research for our technology teams.

  • Additionalresponsibilities may include analyzing current andnew technologyarchitecture designs or implementing and deploying applications across multiple environments.

The Unique Skill SetsWe'reLooking For:

  • As a sophomore intern in the Technology Track, you have a demonstrated interest in computer science, information systems, applicationdevelopmentor business technology. Specific technical skills may be required depending on area and project.

  • Other general requirements include:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skillsdemonstratedby the ability to assimilatenew information, and manage multiple tasks

  • Basic programming skills in one or more areas: Java, JavaScript, SQL, Scala, Python, HTM/CSS

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written

  • Ability to grasp information quickly

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work productively in a high-performance team atmosphere and as an independent analyst

Salary Range:Your regular wages for the 10 weeks will be paid on a semi-monthly basis and will be calculated based on an annual salary of$65,600
