Job description

ZS is a place where passion changes lives. As a management consulting and technology firm focused on improving life and how we live it, we transform ideas into impact by bringing together data, science, technology and human ingenuity to deliver better outcomes for all. Here you’ll work side-by-side with a powerful collective of thinkers and experts shaping life-changing solutions for patients, caregivers and consumers, worldwide. ZSers drive impact by bringing a client-first mentality to each and every engagement. We partner collaboratively with our clients to develop custom solutions and technology products that create value and deliver company results across critical areas of their business. Bring your curiosity for learning, bold ideas, courage and passion to drive life-changing impact to ZS.

What you’ll do: Business Technoogy Associate Consultant in the Digital Products & Solutions Practice Area will…

Digital Products & Solutions team helps organizations in their digital transformation journey by transforming last-mile experiences. We are uniquely positioned to bring together deep domain, analytics, technology/platform, and consulting expertise, with a strong focus on innovation and design. The Salesforce service line focuses on redefining how life sciences organizations engage HCPs, patients, caregivers, and payers, and on reengineering the commercial, medical, and patient-services processes behind those journeys. We collaborate with CSTs and practice areas to develop innovative domain solutions by infusing analytics and AI. We continue to be a preferred Salesforce implementation and innovation partner for our clients and have significantly scaled our expertise across Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics, and Agentforce. With Life Sciences Cloud now anchoring CRM roadmaps across pharma, biotech, and medtech — and many clients actively reassessing their commercial platform — this is a rare opportunity to shape an industry-defining transition from the front line.

What You’ll Do:
  • Translate commercial, medical, and patient-services business needs into Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud and Health Cloud solution designs — spanning HCP engagement and rep productivity, call planning and multichannel cycle plans, sample management, patient support and hub services, and clinical trial participant engagement.
  • Run requirements and fit-gap workshops with commercial operations, medical affairs, patient services, and IT stakeholders; document as-is/to-be process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria that development teams can build against.
  • Design the data model and configuration approach across core life sciences objects — HCP/HCO accounts and affiliations, territory alignments, product hierarchies, interactions, consent and channel preferences — making deliberate calls on out-of-the-box versus custom.
  • Shape integrations with the life sciences data ecosystem: customer master/MDM and data change request workflows, third-party reference and prescription data, approved content from Vault or equivalent DAM, and API/MuleSoft orchestration with ERP, MDM, and analytics platforms.
  • Support Veeva CRM to Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud migration assessments — capability mapping, data and content migration strategy, field-force impact, and phased roadmap definition.
  • Bring Data Cloud, Einstein, and Agentforce into the solution: unified HCP and patient profiles, next-best-action for field teams, patient journey orchestration, and agentic assistants for field, service, and hub users.
  • Embed compliance by design — HIPAA and GDPR, GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 expectations, computer system validation, PhRMA Code, Sunshine Act/Open Payments spend capture, PDMA sample accountability, and consent and opt-in management.
  • Partner with solution architects and development teams through build, SIT and UAT, validation, deployment, and hypercare, staying accountable for functional quality throughout
  • Own a workstream end to end — scope, plan, timeline, risks, and deliverable quality — and flag issues to leadership early with a recommended path forward.
  • Structure ambiguous client problems into hypothesis-driven analyses, and build the storyline and executive-ready deliverables that carry the recommendation.
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and steering committee updates; explain technical trade-offs and their business implications to non-technical audiences.
  • Build business cases and value realization frameworks — adoption, rep productivity, patient onboarding cycle time, cost to serve — and track benefits post go-live.
  • Drive adoption and change management: persona definition, training, communications, super-user enablement, and adoption dashboards.
  • Coach analysts and associates, review their work, and manage day-to-day client relationships with judgment about what to escalation.
  • Contribute to practice building — proposals and RFP responses, reusable accelerators and demo assets, points of view, and recruiting.
What You’ll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT, engineering, or a related discipline; candidates with a life sciences or business background and strong technology aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
  • Required: 3+ years of relevant consulting experience, including hands‑on Salesforce consulting and implementation experience.
  • Exposure to Veeva CRM or Vault CRM, and to the considerations involved in migrating off it — strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification expected; Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Platform App Builder, or Agentforce credentials are strongly preferred.
  • Experience in working with healthcare companies (Pharma, Life Sciences, Med Tech, etc.) and knowledge of industry‑specific challenges is preferred.
  • Fluency in English
  • Client‑first mentality
  • Intense work ethic
  • Collaborative spirit and problem‑solving approach
How you’ll grow:
  • Cross‑functional skills development & custom learning pathways
  • Milestone training programs aligned to career progression opportunities
  • Internal mobility paths that empower growth via s‑curves, individual contribution and role expansions
