Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location-Type: Hybrid (2 Days A Week Onsite - in Owings Mills, MD 21117)
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: Contract (12 Months w/ option to extend)
W2 Pay Rate Range: $35/hr - $40/hr

Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Job Description:
Support technology and business teams by analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional solutions, and leveraging data to improve processes and drive strategic initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver solutions
  • Create and execute SQL, Oracle, and PL/SQL queries for data analysis
  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements through testing
  • Analyze complex business processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support testing efforts, validation, and solution implementation
  • Document workflows, specifications, and business processes
  • Collaborate across technology and business teams to ensure successful delivery
Minimum Requirements:
  • 5 years of Business Analyst experience
  • Strong Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL experience
  • Experience creating, modifying, and running database queries
  • Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
  • Experience working within SDLC methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
