In this role, you will contribute to key priorities such as portfolio management, oversight of overarching strategic priorities, industry & competitive analyses, analyses of new growth opportunities, M&A landscape assessment and diligence, performance/capability assessments, and margin/ROIC optimization across the Nestlé USA business.
This role requires exceptional analytical and project management capabilities. The successful candidate will operate with a results-oriented mindset, balancing speed, agility, and accuracy. They will be comfortable working at both a detailed and strategic level, ensuring alignment between day-to-day execution and broader objectives. The position requires a high level of accountability and the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines for senior leadership. A natural curiosity to assess risks, opportunities, and broader implications is important. The role also involves collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and quickly engaging with new teams and focus areas as needs evolve. Strong core problem solving skills are required to deliver analyses and bring collaboration partners along in the process.
Responsibilities include:
  • Deliver thorough internal and external analyses in a high-volume, fast-paced and dynamic environment, often under tight deadlines
  • Be data-driven and detail-oriented, with an ability to keep the larger picture and long-term implications in mind. Be exceptional at pulling insights from a variety of sources, including databases, industry reports, investor/analyst reports, social media, and more
  • Execute analysis including scoping information required, evaluating input information for accuracy and logic, working through data discrepancies, synthesizing information into key insights, and clearly communicating findings and key assumptions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the broader external landscape including consumer trends, competitor dynamics, customer evolution, etc., and help integrate into strategic recommendations and presentations
  • Assist with the development of high-quality presentations for senior levels of the organization (NUSA and Global) on own initiatives or on broader NUSA activities; support broader activities related to senior stakeholder visits, as needed
  • Prioritize deliverables and manage project timelines across various groups and efforts
  • Support M&A&D activities including target pipeline development, preliminary assessment and diligences; may be asked to support divestiture activities, as need
  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess, develop and drive forward key recommendations for the organization
  • Support Program Governance at enterprise level to ensure risk & issue management, strategic alignment & resource use are effectively managed

Requirements:
  • BA/BS required, MBA considered a significant plus
  • 3+ years of related experience (Consulting, Finance, or Strategy), with strong analytical background
  • Strong ability to use data to tell stories in a clear, concise manner
  • Highly proficient in the development of analysis (Excel proficiency is a must) and highly developed oral & written communication skills (proficiency in Power Point and Word are a must)
