Job description

Role Summary:
The Project Manager will plan, direct, and ensure the successful outcome of projects utilizing the assigned project teams, standards, practices, and toolsets established within Flowserve. The Project Manager works directly with internal and external stakeholders to develop the project execution strategy meant to ensure all project activity is regularly reported and performed as per contractual technical specifications and terms and conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the single point of contact, demonstrate ownership and accountability for total project execution (project initiation to project completion), KPI's, and safety on all assigned projects.
- Through clear and proactive communication, establish strong client relationships which exemplify Flowserve's Purpose, Values, and Behaviors as well as manages customer expectations.

- Accountable for Project Finances including milestones & cash forecasting, revenue forecasting, EACs.

- Develop, maintain, and drive action to adhere to a project schedule.
- Identify risks, quantify cost and schedule impact estimates, and develop mitigation strategies.

- Identify and manage contractual changes of scope of work, quality, schedule, or other T&C's.

- Coordinate internal and external Project meetings, distribute minutes, maintain action registers.

- Record lessons learned and best practices, lead lessons learned reviews.

- Report to stakeholders project milestones, status updates, and any existing or potential customer escalation issues. Reporting may consist of project review presentations, written reports, schedules, document registers, action registers, and ad-hoc requests.
- Apply strong team building, prioritization, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Make use of Microsoft Office suite including MS Excel, Project, Access, Powerpoint, Teams, PowerBI and other ERP system.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or other technical discipline and 3-5 years relevant experience.

Knowledge of EPC projects, capital projects execution, or other engineered-to-order project organizations.

Proficiency with MS office suite including Microsoft Project, and experienced with document control and risk management software.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% if required.

Excellent interpersonal, writing, and oral presentation skills in English. Strong presentation and communications skills to effectively coordinate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

Excellent organizational and cross-cultural skills.

Strong time-management ability, demonstrated ability to prioritize.

Ability to work independently to design and implement business processes.

Strong work ethic, adaptability, flexibility, and proactivity.

Preferred:

- PMP or other Project Management certification

- Manufacturing and/or Nuclear Power Industry experience.

- Experience with ISO9001, ASME NQA-1, 10CFR50 Appendix B, AFCEN RCC-M, RCC-E, ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC), etc.

- SixSigma or Lean training / experience
