The Volume Hiring Specialist supports the Talent Acquisition team by managing high-volume requisitions, coordinating candidate assessments, and ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers, and Talent Acquisition partners. This role combines operational recruiting support with process management, requiring strong communication, responsiveness, and attention to compliance and detail. The Specialist leverages recruiting technology and collaborates across teams to maintain efficient workflows and positive candidate experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Requisition & Process Management
  1. Own and manage a high volume of requisitions across multiple business lines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  2. Maintain records and documentation in the applicant tracking system (e.g., Oracle).
  3. Ensure all requisitions are compliant with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Candidate Selection and Experience
  1. Review applicants and assess their application in conjunction with assessment results to determine whether to progress to Hiring Manager interview.
  2. Be selective to ensure only the best quality candidates are presented for consideration within the first 14 days.
  3. Monitor candidate progress through application, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed.
  4. Oversee the full lifecycle of the candidate application process.
  5. Extend verbal offer, confirm start dates and facilitate pre-onboarding actions for new hires.

Stakeholder Support & Communication
  1. Serve as a key point of contact for all managers, providing training / coaching on the hiring process for first time managers. Ensure they provide timely and skills-based feedback following all interviews to drive a skills-based decision making process.
  2. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Dispositioning of candidates in a timely manner and ensuring they are communicated to.
  3. Partner with the market recruiter and RCO to deliver the best outcome.
  4. Proactively problem solve issues as they arise.
  5. Provide regular updates on requisition status, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress to recruiting partners.
Strategic Talent Support
  1. Identify and flag candidates who may be potential for the role (but are not presented immediately for interview) for recruiter review (as requisition is transferred or before dispositioned)
  2. Ensure strong silver medalists or highly scoring candidates who were not selected are tagged in the ATS

Technology & Process Optimization
  1. Leverage technology and AI to drive efficiencies and streamline workflows.
  2. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.

Compliance & Risk Management
  1. Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining professionalism and strict confidentiality.
  2. Support risk mitigation efforts through accurate documentation and process integrity.

Qualifications
  1. Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).
  2. Recruiting coordination, HR support, or related experience.
  3. Proficiency with Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, and applicant tracking systems.
  4. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities while maintaining clarity and responsiveness.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and risk mitigation.
