What You Will Do:

The Business Process Analyst will lead or support teams of analysts in applying process improvement, reengineering, modernization, and transformation methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness across financial and operations management functions. This role will assess process performance in complex environments, evaluate the relationships between financial, staffing, support, and operational processes and outcomes, and guide requirements gathering through interviews, surveys, working sessions, and focus groups. The analyst will also support the design and implementation of new or improved business processes.

The Business Process Analyst will coordinate across multiple project teams to support enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts. Responsibilities include facilitating meetings with management to define measurable goals, objectives, requirements, and performance metrics; ensuring recommended improvements align with strategic objectives and applicable policies, rules, and regulations; developing practical implementation plans; conducting organizational studies and evaluations; preparing operational and procedural materials; and developing or interpreting cost analyses, budget plans, and senior management briefings.

What You Will Need:
  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP "PUBLIC TRUST" security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • THREE (3) or more years of professional experience in business process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation

  • Understanding of the CBP operating environment

  • Experience leading stakeholder discussions and meetings

  • Ability to quickly understand complex processes, systems, and data
