Job Description

Extremely strong QNXT experience


Ability and potential to manage an IT Department


Strong Business Analyst background with Development/Management skills


Potential to mentor junior Business Analyst's


Perform all Business Analysis aspects of assigned small, large and medium-sized multi-discipline projects. Ensure project deliverables are consistent with software development standards and platforms.  


Maintain a clear focus on internal and external customer needs.


Provides guidance on the topic of EDI and EFT.


Communicate with the CMDP Development Manager and other project staff regarding the status of assigned project deliverables; obtain guidance as required on Business Analysis practices, policies and procedures.


Complete business requirements, functional requirements, stakeholder analysis and business process analysis.  


o Works with the customer to define and document business processes.


o Extracting, analyzing, specifying, validating and documenting business requirements. Ensure requirement statements are understandable to users and developers and are consistent with software development standards.


o Gather, synthesize and prioritize requirements for business process re-design using interviews, document analysis, requirement gathering workshops, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, site visits, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases and workflow analysis.


o Collect, create, and analyze appropriate project metrics (e.g. success criteria).


o Coordinate project deliverables with the Project Manager and/or Project Leader from inception to completion, under leadership of the assigned project manager.


o Produce software functional requirements specifications for developers and customers.


o Plans and leads research and interview efforts, and portions of work breakout sessions and solution formulation. 


Communicate project progress / status and obtain approval as required to advance projects from the Project Manager.


Work with developers and other technical staff to ensure technical requirements can be met and tested. 


o Analyze and translate high-level requirements into detailed use cases and supplemental specifications.


o Preparation of test plans and scripts from business and technical requirements.  


o Lead user acceptance testing.


o The Business Analyst will close the loop by tracing requirements to the test results.


Work with the customers and technical project staff to identify and balance stakeholder needs and expectations throughout the development process.


Participate in the development and management of project plans related to the application development initiatives (from project planning and design through testing). 


Understand QNXT configuration adequate to function in a support capacity for QNXT configuration.


Work with end users in the test and production phases of application development and the preparation of manuals, charts, diagrams and forms designed for users.


Interacts, frequently and routinely, with customers as a result of being co-located with CMDP operations.
