Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:
This individual will serve as a strategic business partner who optimizes operational and supply chain performance by leveraging deep knowledge of SAP modules, production processes, and supply chain management. Key responsibilities include analyzing and streamlining end-to-end processes, gathering business requirements, define and support developing SAP solutions, and providing support to ensure proper testing, system integration and successful implementation. This role requires a blend of technical SAP expertise and strong business acumen to bridge the gap between IT and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
* Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement in production, operations, and the supply chain, recommending and implementing best practices using SAP functionality
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and design solutions that leverage best practices within SAP
* Manage project activities, including testing, training, and deployment, to ensure successful and timely delivery of SAP-related initiatives
* Coordinate integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements across different teams and systems
* Provide expert-level support for complex operational issues within the SAP environment, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to maintain business continuity
* Work closely with stakeholders from various departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, IT) to ensure seamless integration across the entire business process and alignment of supply chain strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilize SAP reporting tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Fiori, Power BI) to monitor supply chain performance, track process improvements, and drive data-informed decision-making
* Provide custom reporting and data mining to support functional projects throughout the organization
* Act as the liaison with the global SAP team to support exception-based reporting with Logistics Information System (LIS), Sales Information System (SIS) and Azure Synapse
* Develop standards for master data and provide oversite, enforcement and support of those standards. This would include taking the lead on any mass updates, changes and configuration in master data
* Perform all other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors Degree in Supply Management or a related field, Master"s degree is preferred
* 10+ years" experience in manufacturing, SAP, procurement or supply chain desired
* Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and build consensus across stakeholders, sometimes globally
* Deep understanding of supply chain and production operations, including logistics, inventory management, and manufacturing processes
* Extensive experience in SAP, with specific knowledge in modules like Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (WM), or Supply Chain Management (SCM). Experience in Customization is a plus.
