The Role

The Associate Account Executive role is a supporting sales role designed for high potential professionals looking to build foundational field sales skills before progressing into a full quota-carrying position. This role serves as a natural next step from inside sales roles, with an emphasis on learning territory strategy, deal mechanics, and enterprise sales motion through hands-on support and guided ownership.

The AAE partners closely with Client Account Executives to support defined territories and opportunities, assisting with pipeline development, account research, prospect engagement, and deal execution. While the role may include managing smaller transactional opportunities, its primary focus is skill development, exposure, and readiness for progression into a quota-carrying Account Executive role.

Success in this role requires a coachable mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to balance independent execution with collaborative support.

What You Will Do

  • Support Client Account Executives (CAEs) across the sales cycle for assigned accounts and opportunities, contributing to prospecting, qualification, discovery preparation, and deal coordination.
  • Assist with pipeline development through outbound outreach, account research and partner collaborations.
  • Participate in discovery calls, proposal development, and customer presentations for mid-market and enterprise opportunities led by CAEs.
  • Learn to position Syniti's portfolio of software, services, and support by aligning solutions to customer needs in collaboration with senior sales leaders.
  • Participate in territory reviews, pipeline calls, and deal strategy sessions with sales leadership as part of ongoing development.
  • Build industry, market, and product knowledge to understand Syniti's value proposition and competitive landscape.
  • Travel occasionally for customer meetings, training, and internal events as part of onboarding and professional development.

What It Takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, inside sales, SDR/BDR, customer success, or a related client-facing role within software or IT services.
  • Strong research, communication, and relationship-building skills, with comfort engaging a variety of stakeholder levels alongside senior sellers.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales productivity tools (Salesforce preferred).

What We Offer

  • Trust in your talent. At Syniti you will find a supportive environment and access to learning tools, but micromanagement is not our style.
  • Growth. We are growing rapidly and steadily solving the biggest challenges enterprise companies are faced with today. There was never a better time to join and grow with us. Most importantly you will have the chance to shape our journey and share in our success story.
  • Support. We all rely on each other and enable each other to be successful. You won't stand alone.
  • Curiosity and genuine interest in you. We all have our different stories, all equally fascinating with each depicting a different journey and we want to hear them all.
  • Recognition. We are the sum of individual achievements, and we always take the time to celebrate them.
  • An open organisation. Titles don't define access at Syniti. We stay humble regardless of where we sit in the organisation. We want to hear every voice, listen to all the ideas and make sure everyone's work is seen and valued.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

At Syniti, we're committed to creating a respectful, inclusive, and fair workplace where everyone belongs and thrives. We believe that diverse perspectives make us stronger - and we value the unique backgrounds, experiences, and voices each person brings to our team.

We welcome applicants based on their skills and potential, and we're dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for all, regardless of personal background. If you need accommodations during the hiring process, please let us know - we're here to support you.
